For coaches and matchmakers
Get Listed As a Matchmaker
Get listed as a matchmaker by sending us your website, your price, your written refund and cancellation terms, and references. We check it all. If it holds up, you get a dated row in our tables.
Key takeaways
- Listing takes 3 steps: send the form, we check your details, and your row goes up with the date we checked it.
- We ask for 4 things: a real business, a public price (or one we may publish), written refund and cancellation terms, and references.
- Every price we show has 2 things next to it: the page it came from and the date we checked it.
- New York lets buyers cancel a social referral contract within 3 business days (NY GBL § 394-c). Buyers will ask about your terms.
- The FTC’s 2024 rule bans fake and bought reviews and testimonials (FTC). We never add star ratings or scores.
- A city page goes live only with 5 verified providers, 3 public prices and 1 local source, so a published price helps your city get a page.
How do you get listed as a matchmaker?
It takes three steps.
- Tell us about your business in the form at the bottom of this page.
- We check it. We open your site, find your price and your terms, and contact your references.
- Your row goes up in the tables where you fit, with the date we checked it. If something is missing, we leave the row out until it’s fixed.
Being listed does not guarantee requests. Every request on this site goes to Maya, and only Maya. Read how we get paid for the money side.
What do we need to list your matchmaking business?
These come from our editorial policy. We ask every matchmaker for the same four things.
| What we ask for | What counts | Why we ask |
|---|---|---|
| A real business | Your own website, with your name, the cities you serve and a way to reach you | We only list people we can check |
| A price | A price on your site, or one you agree we may publish | Buyers are tired of “call for pricing” |
| Written refund and cancellation terms | A page or contract clause in plain words | It is the first thing a careful buyer asks |
| References | Past clients who agree to talk to Maya | It is the closest thing to proof we can get |
A public price can be one line. VIDA Select, for example, lists its starting monthly price right in its FAQ VIDA Select FAQ · checked Oct 15, 2026. Refund terms can be short too. Discover Love Matches says plainly that its fees are non-refundable Discover Love Matches terms · checked Oct 15, 2026. Clear is what counts. Generous is up to you.
What does a matchmaker directory listing look like here?
A blank row looks like this. Yours would show your real details.
| Name | Type | Serves | Price | Refund terms | Who it suits | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Your business name | Matchmaker | The cities your site names | Your price, linked to your page | Your terms, in one line | Who you work best with | The date we checked |
Rows like this show up on our matchmaking services near me hub and on city pages. You can see the live cities on our matchmakers and dating coaches by city page.
Why do we ask about refunds and contracts?
Because our readers ask about them first, before price and before photos.
Some states have rules for this. New York, for example, lets a buyer cancel a social referral contract within three business days, and the seller must hand over a full copy of the contract at signing NY General Business Law § 394-c · checked Oct 15, 2026. We track the states we have checked in our dating service contract cancellation rights guide.
Our readers also use our matchmaker contract checklist and our professional matchmaker cost guide before a first call. Expect them to ask about both.
What won’t we publish?
- Star ratings or scores. We don’t rate anyone.
- Testimonials we can’t check. Under FTC guidance, an endorsement has to reflect the honest opinion of the person who gives it FTC Endorsement Guides FAQ · checked Oct 15, 2026. Its 2024 rule bans fake reviews and testimonials FTC, Aug 14, 2024 · checked Oct 15, 2026.
- A promise of a match. Nobody can promise that, so we don’t repeat it.
- Prices we can’t source. No source, no price.
If you also coach, there is a separate page to get listed as a dating coach. For what our readers expect once they hire you, see what to expect from a matchmaker.

Questions people ask
Do I have to publish my prices to be listed?
You need either a public price or a price you agree, in writing, that we may publish. We show it with its source and the date.
What counts as written refund terms?
A page or contract clause that says what happens to the money if a client stops early. No refunds is an answer too, as long as it is in writing.
What references do you need?
Past clients who agree to talk to Maya about working with you. Ask them first. We won’t contact anyone who hasn’t said yes.
Will you review or rate my service?
No. We don’t add star ratings or scores. Your row shows facts we checked: who you serve, your price, your refund terms and the date.
Will visitor requests come to me?
Not directly. Every request on this site goes to Maya, and only Maya. Being listed does not guarantee any requests.
Can a nationwide matchmaker get listed?
Yes, if your own site says which cities you serve. We list you for the places your site names.
What if my price changes?
Tell us and send the new page. Each row shows the date we last checked it, and we update it when you send a change.
