What to check Good sign Warning sign
Verified The site checks they were a customer. Anonymous, or only on the coach’s own site.
Dated Spread out over months or years. A burst of reviews in a short time.
Paid or unpaid Says if they got a free session or discount. Got something free and doesn’t say so.
Specific Names a goal, what they did and how long it took. “Life-changing” and nothing else.
Results Describes effort and what changed. Big results with no word on what’s typical.
Reviewer history Has reviewed other businesses too. An account made for this one review.
Coach’s reply Calm, owns mistakes. Threats, or the bad review disappears.

What will we review, and what won’t we?

We don’t give star ratings or scores, because we haven’t hired every coach and we won’t make numbers up. What we do instead:

  • Show public prices with the source and the date we checked.
  • Label any personal experience as one person’s experience.
  • Explain how we check providers in our editorial policy.

Ranking-style pages are in best dating coaches, with how we chose and the date. Our matchmaker pages, like Tawkify cost, carry no star ratings either.

What should you do after reading reviews?

Use reviews to narrow the list. Once two or three coaches pass:

  1. Book a free call with each.
  2. Ask the same questions from questions to ask a dating coach.
  3. Ask each one to put you in touch with a past client.
  4. Pick the one who answered straight.
