What is Kelleher International?

Kelleher International is a luxury matchmaking firm. It was founded in 1986 by Jill Kelleher, and her daughter Amber Kelleher-Andrews leads it now (Wikipedia). Instead of one matchmaker, you get a team of three.

How much does Kelleher International cost?

Kelleher prints a fee range on its own site. Its FAQ says each client gets a custom package, and the fee “can range from $50,000 up to $500,000” (Kelleher FAQ, checked Oct 15, 2026).

A competitor has published lower numbers. VIDA Select, which sells its own dating service, reports a local search from $30,000, extra cities at $5,000 each, a national search from $45,000 and an international tier from $150,000 to $300,000 and up (VIDA Select, updated Oct 10, 2026). Those figures cite older public reports. Kelleher’s own page is newer and higher, so plan around $50,000 as the floor.

What do Kelleher’s contract terms say?

Credit where it’s due. Kelleher posts its client terms online, so you can read them before you ever call. These points stood out when we read them on October 15, 2026 (terms):

• No refunds. The retainer is “payable in full” at signing, and all fees are non-refundable.
• No refund if they end it. Kelleher can end the contract for reasons like rude behavior or false information, and keep the fees.
• No promises. Kelleher “cannot guarantee” you will find a partner.
• Feedback is required. You must send a feedback form after each introduction before you get the next one.
• Limited screening. The terms say Kelleher does “limited screening” and no medical, legal or psychological testing.
• A 5-year review clause. You agree not to make negative public remarks, including on review sites, during your membership or for five years after, without first contacting Kelleher to try to resolve it.
• New York clients: $1,000 of the fee applies to New York referrals, and the section mentions a hold of up to one year and at least six referrals a year.
• California clients: if you move more than 50 miles and Kelleher can’t transfer your contract, you may be released from future payments, with a $100 or $50 fee.

On the review clause, the FTC says the Consumer Review Fairness Act makes it illegal for businesses to use standard contract terms that threaten or penalize people for posting honest reviews (FTC). How that law applies to this clause is a question for a lawyer, not for us. Ask Kelleher how it works before you sign.

Where does Kelleher matchmaking search?

Kelleher lists teams in 20 cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Miami, Denver, Las Vegas, San Diego, Washington DC, Toronto, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, Vancouver, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Newport Beach, Scottsdale and London (Kelleher, checked Oct 15, 2026).

Its FAQ says it can run multi-city and international searches for people who travel a lot. The competitor report above ties price to scope: local, national, then international. Ask which scope your quote covers, and how many introductions it means.

What do Kelleher International reviews say?

There isn’t much to read.

• Trustpilot: the profile was claimed in July 2026 and showed 0 reviews when we checked (Trustpilot, Oct 15, 2026).
• BBB and Yelp: we couldn’t confirm a profile and its numbers ourselves, so we’re not quoting any.
• A competitor’s summary: VIDA Select says Yelp and BBB reviewers report paying $15,000 to $25,000 or more, with complaints about match quality (VIDA Select). We couldn’t open those reviews to check, and VIDA Select sells a competing service.
• Kelleher’s own testimonials are glowing, as testimonials always are.

Who is Kelleher a good fit for?

It fits someone with a busy, private life who wants a team doing the search and can lose the whole fee without it hurting. It doesn’t fit someone who is stretching to afford it, or who wants a refund if it doesn’t work out.
